HI

I’M RACHEL

I’ve been writing about healthcare for more than 10 years. You’re in safe hands.

Experienced healthcare and medical writer

I’m a London-based freelance healthcare and medical writer. My job is to turn complex insights, evidence and ideas into clear, accessible and relevant health content and copy.

From policy, patient advocacy and PR; to advertising and traditional medical communications; through journalistic storytelling – I might be the most versatile healthcare writer you’ll speak to today!

I’ve written for them all: top-tier pharma, patient organisations and health tech start-ups. Small businesses, bespoke medical education specialists and clinical research giants. I’ve immersed myself in countless health topics, working alongside patients, professionals and industry experts.

Health content is everywhere. You need to be heard. I know what really works.

“Rachel really brought the website to life.”

What about when I’m not writing?

I’m a South-East London gal, mum-of-two, and wife (-of-one), with a love of writing and storytelling – especially stories about how we might live healthier lives in a healthier world.

I’m a qualified yoga teacher, lover of reading (expect lots of popular science and crime fiction on that bedside table) and coffee-shop afficionado. In another life, I gained a black belt in Choi Kwang Do, having fallen in love with martial arts while living in South Korea.

On a Sunday night, you’ll find me drinking a G&T, eating a veggie curry and watching Death In Paradise (while dreaming of sunnier climes!) On a Monday morning, I’m ready for anything – mostly chasing around after my son.

Let’s talk.

Drop me a line to find out more about me, my rates and availability, and how we could work together.

A note from me:

I work Tuesday through Friday. I’ll aim to get back to you within 24 hours during the working week.
